Principal Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services
Working in conjunction with an innovative MEP Building Services Consultants currently looking for an experienced Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Birmingham-based team.
The centrally located, singular Birmingham practice utilise creative and technical expertise to deliver sustainable buildings which are both financially and energy efficient.

The Role –
– Ability to manage projects and teams to deliver to and exceed client expectations. Passionate about creative and innovative design
– Management of Engineers and Technicians in the production of calculations, design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties, further
– Helping to generate repeat business through building relationships with clients
– Contribute to the preparation of enquiry plans, tender reviews, fee estimate sheets, scopes of work and change controls as required
Requirements –
– Possessing relevant Building Services Engineering degree / HND / HNC or relevant Mechanical qualification
– Demonstrating a minimum of 10 years’ Building Services engineering sector
– Experience in managing Senior Engineers, apprentices and graduates
– An understanding of incorporating various renewable technologies
Package –
– To £70k per annum
– 25 days holiday per annum, excluding bank holidays
– Hybrid / Flexible working pattern
– Annual bonus scheme – dependant of company financial yearly performance
– Annual parking permit
– Enhanced Pension Scheme – company 7% contribution
