Project Engineer – PLCs EC&I
We are looking for an experienced PLC engineer to join this food processing / FMCG equipment manufacturer OEM in Stoke on Trent.
This is a great opportunity to continue your career as a Project Engineer or perhaps transition for a Maintenance Engineer / Installation Engineer or Commissioning Engineer into this more office based “off the tools” role.
You
- Qualified electrical engineer; HND/HNC or degree
- 18th Edition
- Industrial electrical & maintenance experience
- Programming Siemens and/or Allen Bradley and/or Mitsubishi PLC/SCADA product experience
- Electrical design experience
- Commissioning and projecting experience
- Instrumentation setup and calibration experience
- Experience working with VSDs and Softstarts
- Full Driving Licence
The Role
- Predominantly office based with a limited amount of site visits in UK and overseas to help commission modifications and new systems
- The planning, design and construction of projects of all sizes
- Complete project documentation, i.e. checklists, method statements, risk assessments, electrical drawings etc
- Provide technical support to Engineering Team throughout the duration of a project
Package
Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
Annual salary: circa £40,000, depending on experience and qualifications
