Project Freight Forwarder

Position: Project Freight Forwarder

Location: Southampton

Salary: up to £35,000

Hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 17:30pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced shipping/freight forwarding professional to join a well-established, niche logistics provider specialising in bespoke global transport services.

We are looking to speak with candidates who have a proven career history working in deepsea freight or shipping operations specialising in Break Bulk, OOG (Out Of Gauge) and Project Cargo.

Experience working in shipping or freight forwarding is essential

Candidates must have a good understanding of working with out-of-gauge/project cargo, ideally within the marine industry plus ideally working with loadmasters and various port authorities, handling all shipping documentation such as BOLS (Bills of Lading), and completing all Customs documentation ready for clearances.

Candidates must be commercially minded and have good problem-solving skills, excellent customer service skills & the ability to work under pressure.
