My client is an established global manufacturer of modular HVAC plant room solutions working with some of the worlds largest companies to provide bespoke designed HVAC plant rooms. They have an excellent brand and employer reputation due to teamwork and valuing their employees’ contributions.

We invite applications from experienced Project Managers with a background in mechanical building services projects for large scale commercial / industrial projects.
This contract role requires regular travel to China for 1-2 weeks at a time.
The Role
- Long term contract role circa 12 months
Lead planning and procurement phase in Droitwich – First 4-5 months with regular travel to China for 1week
Supervise manufacturing and test in China 1week in 5
Manage future build program; planning, procurement, manufacturing, test
Hours: 38 hours. Working in Droitwich 3-5 days per week, working in China 1-2 weeks at a time
You
- Experienced Project Manager within the building services construction / mechanical sector
- Experience of HVAC systems; ideally critical cooling (chilled water) or commercial / industrial boilers, pumps & booster sets
- Mechanical bias with understanding of LV electrical and controls / automation systems
- Genuine willingness and ability to regularly travel to China and Malaysia.
- Strong communication skills, leadership capability, customer and supplier facing
- Driving licence
Package
- Daily rate £350 – £450 per day
- Overseas travel expenses and subsistence
- Potential to become permanent
