Proposals Engineer – £30k
Due to continued growth, my client is seeking a Proposals Engineer to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with experience in constructing comprehensive, tailored quotations.
Specialising in the design, manufacture, protection and installation of process plant and equipment, the company pro-actively support the heavy manufacturing industrial sectors throughout the world.
The Role:
· Working within the sales team, liaising with customers from around the world
· Produce and submit bespoke quotations inc. Bill of Materials, labour requirements, logistics costs and plant hire
· Reading and understanding 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings and interpreting specifications
· Daily interaction with companies IMS, CRM & ERP systems
· Assist with after sales and service queries
You:
· Experience creating BOM, Labour requirements, Hire & Logistic costs.
· Experience creating and developing pricing models.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to maintain existing and build new relationships.
· The ability to initiate customer contact and generate technical enquiries with a commitment to follow through to execution.
Package:
Salary: £30,000
increasing holiday allowance for every year of service
