Pump Fitter
We are looking for a Pump Fitter/Assembler in the Gloucestershire area to join a UK based manufacturer of pumps serving a diverse range of industries. The role will involve initial training on various electric or diesel pumps to enable you to attend some exciting jobs overseas and prestigious projects across the UK.
The role:
The assembly of pumps with either an electric motor or diesel engine.
- Build bare shaft pumps to engineering drawings
- Assemble electric or diesel skid sets to engineering drawings and bill of materials listing
- Effective communication with planners, vendors, test and supervisor/manager
You:
- Minimum of 3 years experience working with pumps
- Recognised engineering apprenticeship or qualification
- Proven ability to read technical engineering drawings
- Willing approach to ongoing training and career development
- A real interest in working overseas
Package:
- Basic salary: £31,000 – £34,000 (DOE)
