An opportunity has arisen to join a well established electronics manufacturer based in Nottingham.
My client is searching for an experienced Quality Engineer / Quality Systems Manager to lead a team of Technicians to ensure business-wide compliance with all Quality policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have sound understanding and experience working to ISO9001 (and ideally ISO13485 medical devices).
Package:
– Salary to £35K
– 26 days holiday + bank holidays
– pension scheme
– office based working 0730- 1530
Role:
– Assist in day to day coordination of Quality Management System
– Investigate root cause, implement corrective actions and promote continuous improvement
– Engage with customer, suppliers and other business departments
– Provide weekly kpi data
– Deputise for QHSE Manager when required
You:
– Experienced Quality Engineer, Quality Systems Coordinator or similar Quality System Management experience
– Degree or equivalent in Engineering or similar ideally
– Previous experience in similar role within a manufacturing environment (electronics / medical devices desirable)
– Experience in internal auditing, root cause and corrective actions
– Working knowledge of AS9100 and TS16949 is desirable
