Regional Sales Manager – South-West – £45,000 + Commission + Company Car

Regional Sales Manager required to join a world renowned manufacturer of high quality labelling machinery and associated products.

This position requires a deep, technical understanding of capital equipment, ideally with an understanding of labelling technologies and strong sales skills to engage with clients and provide them with the best solutions tailored to their specific needs. You will work closely with the sales, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure our customers receive the best service and support.

The Package:

Salary – £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)

The Role:

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and drive market growth.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the company’s labelling machinery products and solutions, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize your technical knowledge to explain product features, capabilities, and benefits to customers and assist them in making informed decisions.
• Proposal and Quotation Preparation: Prepare accurate and competitive proposals and quotations for customers, including technical details and pricing.
• Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with customers and work towards closing sales deals.
• Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, customer support, and marketing teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.

Requirements:

• Must have a strong technical background.
• Will ideally have experience selling labelling equipment, packaging machinery, food processing equipment of similar capital equipment.
• Must have proven technical sales experience.
