I currently have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team in a 24 hour Veterinary Hospital in Leigh, Manchester. This is a full time role of 40 hours spread over 4 days.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our patients and clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Circulating through multiple departments, including theatre, consultations, pharmacy, emergency, and inpatient care.
• Providing hands-on nursing care, including Schedule 3 activities.
• Supporting the theatre and anaesthesia team, if this aligns with your interests.
• Collaborating with our experienced team of vets and nurses to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Participating in a 1-in-5 weekend rota.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) qualification.
• A proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• A commitment to providing excellent patient and client care.
• A desire to learn and grow within a forward-thinking practice.

Day-to-Day

Your day-to-day activities will vary, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. You may find yourself assisting in theatre, supporting consultations, managing pharmacy tasks, or providing care to inpatients. With 10-hour shifts between 7 am and 8 pm, spread over four days a week, you’ll enjoy a balanced schedule that allows for personal time and professional fulfilment.
