Road Freight Coordinator
Premium Freight Coordinator – Birmingham – Up to £40,000 (DOE)
Our client, who are a UK based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in Complex Shipments across Sea, Road, and Air are looking for a premium freight forwarder, who specialises in all things air, road & Sea from start to finish.
This role will be based at their operation in Birmingham.
Job Type – Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday
Salary: Up to £40,000 (DOB)

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the importation & Exportation of goods via Road, air or Sea.
- As a Freight Coordinator, you will deal with all aspects of Imports & Exports across Road freight, managing the entire life cycle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of Import & Export activities
Requirements:
- Knowledge of premium freight would be highly advantageous – Road bias is highly desirable.
- This is a fully operational role dealing with all aspects of the freight forwarding cycle, so start to finish process experience is essential.
- Industry & Operational knowledge of Import/export and Groupage
- Proficiency in using freight forwarding software.
- Must have 2/3 Years’ experience with a UK based freight forwarder.
- Experience with Importation of goods via Air, Sea or Road is an essential requirement for this role.
