Road Freight Forwarder

Location: Bradford
Salary: Up to £37,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, with a choice of 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm

Are you an experienced Road Freight Forwarder looking for greater job security, genuine progression and a varied role within a growing business?

The company will consider candidates with either road freight import or export experience. You do not need to have experience in both.

The Role

• Managing European road freight import or export shipments from booking through to delivery

• Liaising with customers, hauliers, overseas partners and internal departments

• Preparing transport documentation and maintaining accurate records

• Producing quotations and securing competitive transport rates

• Monitoring shipments and proactively resolving delays or operational issues

• Providing regular updates and a high standard of customer service

• Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers

The Candidate

• Previous experience in either road freight imports or exports

• Good knowledge of European road freight operations

• Confident communicating with customers, hauliers and overseas partners

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload

• Commercially aware, proactive and comfortable solving problems

• Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
