Road Freight Forwarder
European Road Freight Forwarder – Lichfield
Our client, who are a highly established Freight Forwarding & International Logistics company are now seeking to appoint a new team member to the Freight Department primarily dealing with Groupage Services
As the Freight Forwarder you will be tasked with managing the company’s customer accounts, dealing with the entire life cycle of the import and export process via European Road Freight.
Job type: Permanent
Hours: Mon – Fr 9:00am – 17:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide spot quotes to our existing customer base
- Forge & develop strong working relationships with customers.
- Demonstrate a positive and proactive attitude towards your work
- Provide outstanding levels of customer service
- Liaise with overseas partners negotiating rates where necessary
- Promote company brand and image through customer service
- Dealing with FTL and groupage shipments
- Work towards KPI Targets
Requirements:
- 1-2 years industry experience
- Road freight experience covering imports and/or exports
- Experience dealing with Subcontractors and partners
- Experience in quotations
