Road Freight Manager -Remote – Up to £40,000
We are seeking an experienced Road Freight Manager to lead our road freight operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the entire road freight division, with a focus on optimizing operations, enhancing service quality, and driving cost-efficiency. As the business grows, there is also the potential for you to build and lead your own team.
Job type – Full time – Permanent
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday
Salary: Up to £40,000 (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Proven track record in managing road freight operations.
- Strong proven track record in managing road freight operations.
- Proficient using freight forwarding software including Cargowise.
- Opportunity to build and lead a strong road freight team.
- Ensure all compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyse data & Reports for continual improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Road freight Import/Export operations Management or a similar role within the logistics industry
- In-depth knowledge of import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements
- Strong Leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry
