We are currently recruiting for an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a growing and dynamic logistics business based in Hinckley. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong European road freight experience who is looking to join a company that genuinely invests in its people and culture.

The Role

As a Road Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of European road shipments, ensuring a high level of service is delivered to customers at all times.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and coordinating European road freight shipments (import/export)
• Liaising with customers, hauliers, and overseas agents
• Handling customs documentation and compliance (where required)
• Providing accurate quotations and managing costs
• Tracking shipments and proactively resolving any issues
• Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships

Requirements

• Previous experience in road freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of European groupage / full load operations
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Customs knowledge (desirable but not essential)
