Road Freight Operator – Maldon – Up to £32k

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to plan International vehicles with freight direct from many different manufacturers effectively and efficiently, all the while keeping costs low to maximise trailer profitability. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a Freight Forwarder, a strong understanding of export logistics and good geographic knowledge of Europe.

• £28k – £32k Depending on Experience

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with hauliers and carriers
• Production of quotations
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Manage Road Exports from start to finish – preferable
• Manage Road Imports from start to finish
• Ability to complete customs entries
• Invoice jobs on completion

Requirements

• Road Freight experience – 18 months minimum
• Cargowise knowledge – preferable
