Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join their Bradford office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the full life cycle of road freight shipments (import or export)

• Coordinating collections and deliveries with hauliers, overseas partners, and customers

• Preparing and checking all relevant shipping and customs documentation

• Monitoring shipments, updating customers, and proactively resolving any issues or delays

• Negotiating rates with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions

• Delivering excellent customer service and building strong client relationships

• Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in road freight forwarding operations (import or export essential)

• Knowledge of European road freight processes and regulations

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

• Confident communicator with excellent customer service ability

• IT literate; experience with freight forwarding systems advantageous

• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
