Road Freight Operator – Tamworth
Salary: Up to £35,000 (depending on experience)

A well-established international freight forwarding business is seeking an experienced Road Freight Operator to join its growing team in Tamworth. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment with strong career progression prospects.
The Role:
Working within a busy road freight department as part of a wider operational team
Handling European groupage and full-load services
Arranging the movement of freight from origin to final destination (UK & Europe)
Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers
Managing shipments from booking through to delivery
Preparing and processing customs and transport documentation
Skills & Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in European road freight or logistics
Strong understanding of road freight operations
Ability to manually calculate costs and charges, including taxable kilos
Experience with customs paperwork
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits:

Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
