Route Development Manager – Short Sea Routes – £65K

The Route Development Manager must have a proven track record with Short Sea, and a proven track record in multi modal freight activity. The ideal candidate would be an expert in the Short Sea shipping market that has a plethora of pre-existing relationships with Freight Forwarders/BCOs.

Route Development Manager Package:

• £60K – £65K

The Route Development Manager will be responsible for continued development and growth in the Short Sea container market by identifying cargo and customers in the trade. They will work as part of the Sales team whilst managing the Short Sea customers across the UK by proactively securing new business whilst focusing on maximising and delivering both Import and Export target volume, revenue and KPIs.

Route Development Manager Requirements:

• Extensive understanding of international freight forwarding market
• Experience with business development strategies to support trade lane and business goals
• Target driven and able to meet budgets for business and trade development
• Support and develop UK sales pipeline through individual and joint sales activity
• Far East experience
• Multi Modal Freight experience
• Willing and able to travel nationally and internationally
