Sales Engineer / Product Specialist (Drives & Networks)

Home-based (preferably based along the M4 Corridor)

My client is a Global Manufacturer of Pneumatic and Automation technology, leading in innovation and providing support to customers in the U.K.

The Role:

This challenging role is home-based, with a customer-facing field bias that’s designed to help increase market share

• To support and develop customers in conjunction with the existing field sales team and provide application and product knowledge during joint visits and project meetings

• Responsible for identifying new opportunities for a large portfolio of products

• Key product areas are electric actuators with both AC servo drives and & DC stepper motor drives

• A variety of serial interface-capable products linked to the latest industrial networks, and other electrically biased products such as Ionisers

• Responsible for identifying new opportunities for a large portfolio of products

You:

* Electrical/electronic qualification with a degree or HNC

* Have experience in selling and specifying AC/DC drives and integrating them into a system

* A level of understanding of serial/bus systems (EtherNET/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET/Bus, Devicenet, CClink/SSCNET etc.)

* PLC integration is an advantage

* Experience in a Customer facing technical role is required

* You’ll also need a valid passport and driving license as some European travel will be required

Package:

• Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
• Bonus, Company Pension, Private Medical Cover
• 25 days holiday including a holiday trading scheme
