Sales Engineer – Product Specialist (Drives & Networks)
Home-based, with travel to Milton Keynes (preferably based along the M4 Corridor)
The Role:
A key member of our well-respected and successful team of product specialists, this challenging role is home based, but with a customer-facing field bias that’s designed to help increase market share.
Indeed, we’ll rely on you to seek out, support and develop customers in conjunction with my clients field sales team and provide application and product knowledge during joint visits and project meetings.
Key product areas are electric actuators with both AC servo drives and & DC stepper motors drives,
You’ll also be responsible for identifying new opportunities for the product, plus you may well get to be part of European working groups and participate in meetings held with our Europe colleagues.
YOU:
* Be electrically/electronically qualified with a degree or HNC.
* Have experience of selling AC/DC drives
* A good to high level of understanding of serial/bus systems (EtherNET/IP, EtherCAT, PROFINET/Bus, Devicenet, CClink/SSCNET etc.) and/or experience of integrating them. How to sell them and where to implement them would be an advantage.
* A good to high level of PLC integration is also an advantage
* You’ll also need a valid passport and driving license as some UK and European travel will be involved.
