Sales Engineer – Food Processing Machinery

Sales Engineer / Sales Manager – Food machinery – Office and Field-based- Flexible hours

An opportunity to join a leading UK manufacturer of Food processing machinery. My client, based in Bedfordshire, is a leading manufacturer of high-tech machinery that provides businesses in the food industry with bespoke solutions to enhance their cutting processes, reduce waste, and improve food safety. With a team of highly skilled engineers, they have a proven track record of delivering industry-leading technology and exceptional customer service to some of the biggest names in the sector.

I’m looking for someone with a strong network and experience selling machinery / capital equipment into the food industry to join this team. You’ll split your time between visiting customer sites and the Bedfordshire office.

Previous experience selling food processing, packaging, cooking, automation machinery as a Sales Engineer, Salesperson, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, applications engineer or similar is required.

The Role

• Driving new business, managing new and existing customer accounts
• Regular travel to customer sites and outreach via phone, email and trade shows
• Attendance at trade shows / exhibitions

You

• Experienced in machinery sales into the food industry
• Comfortable with regular nationwide travel to visit customers
• Good technical knowledge or an engineering background is preferable but not required
• Strong existing network within the food industry is preferable.

Package

• £50,000-£60,000 + commission
• Flexible working hours
• Company car allowance & expenses
• Company pension contribution of 8%
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
