Sales Manager – Bulk Handling / Industrial Conveyors – Solutions Sales – UK Wide – £50,000-£55,000 + Benefits

A solutions provider of bulk handling and material process plant is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their growing team.
This is a progressive role which could lead into a people-management position in the future as the company grow their commercial team.

All successful applicants much have experience working in bulk handling, material handling or heavy industry and must have a strong technical understanding, ideally with an engineering background.

The Package:

Salary – £50,000-£55,000

£6,000 car allowance

Bonus scheme based on company profits (Circa £12,000)

Working Hours – (9am-5pm Monday-Friday)

25 days holiday + bank holidays increasing to 30 days with length of service

Health cash plan scheme

Pension scheme – 5% employer contribution

The Role:

• Plan, manage and interact with both existing and new customer accounts.
• Use research and market intelligence to ensure opportunities are generated, promoted and converted.
• Assist in the production of technical quotations.
• Offer a full technically compliant bid encompassing all disciplines associated with a turnkey contract.
• Visiting customers on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to assess customer requirements.
• Demonstrate the technical capability and advantages of the solutions and services offered to potential customers.
• Daily interaction with the companies CRM and ERP systems.
• Assist with after sales and service queries.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid UK driving license.
• Must have a proven track record as a Technical Sales Specialist, Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager (BDM) or similar.
• Must have previous experience developing new business opportunities.
• Must have experience within bulk handing, material handling, industrial conveyors or similar.
• A proven ability to service the heavy industrial sector.
