Sales Manager – Engineering Power Tools
My client are premium manufacturer of quality power tools and welding equipment designed specifically in the engineering sector. They sell via dealers and direct to end users.
Customers include; general engineering and metal working, fabrication & welding, assembly environments.
They are now looking for a technically minded Area Sales Manager who is centrally based in the UK to support and further develop their customers.
The role
- Working from home. This is a technical solutions sales role rather than box shifting or selling on price.
- Following up enquires and leads with end users – understanding applications and recommending appropriate solution
- Covering central patch: Birmingham, Oxford, Cheltenham, S.Wales
- Maintaining relationships with existing dealers / distributors and end users
- Sales analysis
- Work closely with Marketing to ensure the right products are promoted effectively
- Identify new distributors and end users
- Sell a range of high quality engineering and metalwork hand power tools including welding equipment
Requirements
- Likely to be a mechanical engineer
- Previous field sales experience is essential, sales engineer, key account manager, dealer manager
- You will have solid knowledge of power tools, welding equipment, abrasives, cutting tools is preferred
Package
- Competitive salary around £42K + 30% bonus OTE £54K
