My client have an opening in their busy Sea & Air Freight Department for a skilled and experienced Sea & Air Freight Coordinator

The Company Multi-modal International Freight Forwarder. Employing circa 100 Staff across the multi site group – involving Sea freight, Airfreight, & European export and import departments with a Team of Management responsible for each department. A significant part of the business is FCL and consolidated Sea Freight worldwide. Person Specification The individual will already have experience in Sea Freight FCL &/ LCL Export Deep Sea Forwarding / Air Freight Forwarding.

They will have good customer service skills, be able to work well alone and in a team and experience of working in a Freight Forwarding environment.

Ideally they should be confident in the entire end to end process, from quotation stage, through booking & documentation handling shipments from start to finish.

Experience with Cargowise would be greatly beneficial.

The Role The Sea & Air Freight Coordinator position is to be involved within the well-established team and to assist in driving the development and profitability of the department as we continue to add new services, overseas partners and clients. The role is very much a “Hands on” position working directly with clients & operating the daily tasks associated with handling shipments on a start to finish basis.

Sea & Air Freight Coordinator Location: Woodford Green – IG8

Sea & Air Freight Coordinator Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30. Holiday entitlement: 25 days increasing to 33 days with length of service. Pension Contribution: 5% of salary Bonus Scheme: paid annually Starting salary: £35K – £45K Additional Benefits: Private Health Plan
