My client have an opening in their busy Deep Sea Export Department for a skilled and experienced Sea Freight Export Coordinator

The Company Multi-modal International Freight Forwarder. Employing circa 100 Staff across the multi site group – involving Sea freight, Airfreight, & European export and import departments with a Team of Management responsible for each department. A significant part of the business is FCL and consolidated Sea Freight worldwide. Person Specification The individual will already have experience in Sea Freight FCL &/or LCL Export Deep Sea Forwarding.

They will have good customer service skills, be able to work well alone and in a team and experience of working in a Freight Forwarding environment.

Ideally they should be confident in the entire end to end process, from quotation stage, through booking & documentation handling shipments from start to finish.

Experience with Cargowise would be greatly beneficial.

The Role The Sea Freight Export Coordinator position is to be involved within the well-established Export team and to assist in driving the development and profitability of the department as we continue to add new services, overseas partners and clients. The role is very much a “Hands on” position working directly with clients & operating the daily tasks associated with handling shipments on a start to finish basis.

Sea Freight Export Coordinator Location: Woodford Green – IG8

Sea Freight Export Coordinator Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30. Holiday entitlement: 25 days increasing to 33 days with length of service. Pension Contribution: 5% of salary Bonus Scheme: paid annually Starting salary: £30K – £40K Additional Benefits: Private Health Plan
