Overview
My client is a well-established building services design consultancy delivering mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across commercial, residential, data centre, industrial, and education sectors. They are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead and support the delivery of mechanical design on a range of complex building projects.
Role
You will take a lead role in the design and coordination of mechanical building services systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and clients. The role includes technical design delivery, project coordination, and supporting junior engineers.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in mechanical / building services design
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and public health systems design
- Experience working in consultancy or design-led environments
- Ability to lead elements of project delivery
- Familiarity with BIM tools (Revit / Navisworks advantageous)
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
