Senior Estimator / Key Account Manager – plumbing & heating supplies
I am recruiting for an independent Plumbing & Heating supplies merchant. The company is a family-owned company and has been established 90 years. Over the last 6 years my client has seen strong growth and has expanded from just 1 branch to 5 branches.
The role
Due to growth, an exciting new role has become available within the Projects Office. I am looking for a Senior Estimator to support the Project Office Manager covering commercial sanitary, large-scale healthcare, education and high-rise projects.
- Drive sales generation and promote the Key Account / Estimating Team.
- Manage key account customers with multiple sites throughout the UK.
- Administer correct pricing, contract support and demand planning.
- Receive pricing / tender enquiries from customers, branches and sales force.
- Present quotation to the customer in a professional way and within specified timescales.
- Liaising with key suppliers to keep up to date with current product ranges.
You
- Sound knowledge of plumbing and heating supplies or similar such as construction or building products
- Experience in compiling quotes, internal sales, key account management, dealing with contractors.
- Solid employment tenure and looking for a long term opportunity
- Target-oriented.
- The successful candidate will have good knowledge of all Microsoft applications, a great phone manner and the ability to work using initiative.
