Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services

Working in conjunction with an innovative MEP Building Services Consultants currently looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Birmingham-based team.

The centrally located, singular Birmingham practice utilise creative and technical expertise to deliver sustainable buildings which are both financially and energy efficient.

The Role –

– Produce design deliverables (including drawings, specifications, and reports), site surveys, construction stage duties

– Check calculations and production of detailed drawings to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality and compliance controls, project briefs and customer requirements

– Client-facing and involved in all stages of the projects from inception to completion

– Making client presentations on selected projects

Requirements –

– Possessing relevant Building Services Engineering degree / HND / HNC or relevant Mechanical qualification

– Demonstrating a minimum of 4 years’ Building Services design professional background

– Experience in managing Junior Engineers, Apprentices and Graduates

– Understanding of commercial elements of projects

– Experience in software design including – Microsoft, IES, Revit

Package –

– To £60k per annum

– 25 days holiday per annum, excluding bank holidays

– Hybrid / Flexible working pattern
