Senior Transport Planner
Senior Transport Planner – Basildon – Up to £40,000
A global multisite logistics company are looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in Basildon.
As Transport Planner, you will be working with a team of Planners coordinating multi drop vehicles including pallet network. Working with subcontractors routing vehicles and containers UK wide. You will be planning a high number of containers throughout the week.
Full time:
- Monday to Friday – 12:00 – 20:30

Responsibilities:
- Assist the manager with the smooth running of the transport team
- Optimize planning for multi-stop collection & delivery routes within legal requirements.
- Monitoring driver performance.
- Assist with driver booking.
- Booking with 3rd party hauliers.
Requirements:
- Managers CPC is Essential
- Multi drop experience required
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- 2 Years’ experience as a Transport Planner
