Service Engineer

Service Technician / Engineer – Capital Equipment – £30,000-£80,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a driven and versatile Service Technician / Engineer to join the team of a leading industry manufacturer – providing expert installation, maintenance, and repair of advanced capital equipment across global locations.

This is a unique opportunity for a technically skilled individual who thrives in diverse environments and is eager to take their career to the next level, with the potential to relocate to Australia.

• Installing and commissioning complex capital equipment at client sites worldwide.

• Performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

• Providing hands-on technical support and training to customers.

• Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.

• Ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

• Accurately documenting service activities and maintaining reports.

• Collaborating with engineering and technical teams to support product improvements.

Requirements:

• A strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

• Will ideally hold an apprenticeship qualification, HNC, HND, degree or equivalent qualification within mechatronics, electrical, mechanical or a similar, relevant discipline.

• Previous experience servicing capital equipment such as sorting machinery, washing machinery, robots, conveyors, extruders etc.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Willingness to travel internationally, often at short notice.

• High level of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
