Service Technician

Long Island, New York | On-Site | $75,000-$95,000 Base Salary + 20% Bonus

The Opportunity

This is an on-site position suited to someone with a hands-on technical background in industrial machinery, laboratory equipment or similar technical systems. You will be responsible for supporting equipment performance, carrying out maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring customers receive a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, service and repair technical equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults, carrying out effective troubleshooting.

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.

• Provide technical support and assist with customer enquiries.

• Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently and reliably.

Experience & Requirements

• Previous experience in a Service Technician, Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Technician position.

• Experience working with industrial machinery, laboratory equipment or similar technical equipment is desirable.

• Good mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.

• Willingness to attend occasional industry trade shows.

Salary & Benefits

• Base salary of $75,000-$95,000, depending on experience.
