Technical Sales Engineer – HVAC

A leading HVAC business is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their team in Wickford. This is an internal, office-based role, ideal for someone with strong technical knowledge of air movement or ventilation products who enjoys providing technical support and managing customer relationships.

The Role:

• Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries across a full range of HVAC and air movement products.

• Provide accurate technical advice, quotations, and product selections to contractors, consultants, and distributors.

• Work closely with the external sales team to support ongoing projects and ensure excellent customer service.

• Develop a deep understanding of the full product portfolio to provide tailored solutions to clients.

The Package:

• £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

• Standard company pension

The Ideal Candidate:

• Technical background in HVAC, air handling, fans, or ventilation systems.

• Experience in internal sales, estimating, or technical support within an engineering or building services environment.

• Confident communicator with strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Able to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical data.
