Technical Sales Support Engineer
My client are seeking a dedicated individual with an electrical bias to join their team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will have experience with serial interface, PLC’s, or Electric drives, which would be advantageous for this role. As part of the External Sales department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and the sales force team. Your commercial and market awareness of our product will be crucial in supporting sales growth through training and proactive promotion of existing and new products.
Overview:
As a member of the External Sales team, you will play a key role in providing technical support to customers and the sales force team. Your expertise in electrical engineering and market awareness will contribute to the growth and promotion of their products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers and the sales force team
- Demonstrate commercial and market awareness of the product
- Support sales growth through training and proactive promotion of existing and new products
Qualifications:
- Degree or HND Qualification in electronics, electromechanical or other engineering discipline
- Experience with serial interface, PLC’s, or Electric drives (advantageous)
Day-to-day:
- Assisting customers and the sales force team with technical inquiries
- Staying informed about market trends and competitor products
- Conducting training sessions for sales force team
