Trainee Pump Engineer – Electrical Installation Level 2 required
My client is a manufacturer of industrial and commercial fresh water pump systems. They are looking for someone with level 2 electrical installations to train in the role of Pump Engineer. Shadowing a Senior Pump Engineer, this is a fantastic opportunity for a junior electrician or similar to grow their career, whilst learning new skills with a market leader.
This role is suitable for a junior electrician, electrical improver, electricians mate or someone who has recently graduated college or an apprenticeship with an electrical background. Training can take 6 to 18 months. Salary for a fully trained service engineer is around £45,000
Requirements:
- Level 2 electrical installation essential
- Diploma, or apprenticeship in a mechanical engineering field will be considered
- Excellent communication skills
Package:
- £20,000 to £22,000 plus potenital overtime.
- Realistic earning once trained, £45,000
- 37.5 hour contract
- 1.5 x salary overtime
- 2 x salary bank holidays
- 1 in 6 on call (usually phone based)
- 28 days holiday
