Transport Manager

Transport Manager required in Tilbury

A leading Logistics company based in Essex are looking for an experienced Transport Manager to lead the team.

You will be managing a fast paced traffic office whilst working alongside the Import/Export & warehouse teams.

Multi-drop & groupage experience is required for this role.

Must have an understanding of managing profit & loss.

The Package:
£30,000 - £40,000
Monday - Friday

The Role:
Transport Manager will be overseeing the cost efficient routing of vehicles
You must ensure all road transport legislation is adhered to
It is required all drivers are managed in line with WTD
You must work with the import/export & warehousing teams in a large groupage / multi-drop operation
All vehicles must be used to maximum capacity

The Requirements:
Groupage experience required
Multi-drop experience essential
Manager CPC desired
Experience managing cost efficiency
Excellent Geographic knowledge
Good work ethic
