Transport Manager
Transport Manager required by leading Container Haulier in Felixstowe
A leading Container Transport Company are currently looking for an experienced Depot Manager to oversee the team based in Felixstowe.
This growing company offer UK wide Container Transport services and work out of multiple Ports.
Must have previously managed full transport operation, container experience essential!
The Package:
£45,000 – £55,000
Company Car
Monday – Friday
09:00 – 17:00
25 days holiday
The Role:
Transport Manager will be responsible for day to day running of Felixstowe depot
You will be managing all office staff, a fleet of vehicles & drivers
Transport Manager must ensure full compliance with all road transport legislation
All routes must be planned as cost efficiently as possible
You will be responsible for all staff from hiring to disciplinary
The Requirements:
Manager CPC essential
Container Transport Management – essential
Excellent Man-manager
Strong IT & Geographical knowledge
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
