We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to join our growing operation based in Dover. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing all driver-related activity and recruitment while working closely with senior operational stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Full responsibility for driver recruitment, onboarding, and compliance
Managing and maintaining driver rotas, ensuring legal compliance and operational efficiency
Day-to-day leadership and engagement of the driver workforce
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth coordination between transport and warehouse operations
Collaborating with the Operations Manager, who retains responsibility for transport planning
Ensuring compliance with all relevant transport legislation and company policies
What You’ll Need
International CPC (essential)
Proven experience in a Transport Manager or senior transport role
Strong knowledge of driver hours, WTD, and transport compliance
Excellent organisational and people-management skills
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
