Transport & Planning Operations Manager -Wolverhampton – Up to £44,000

Our Client is an established Haulage Operation, Seeking an experienced Transport & Planning Operations Manager to lead the fleet. You’ll inspire and motivate your team to achieve their goals. It’s hands-on, hard work and detail orientated. To lead a successful team you will need natural assertiveness and drive, building relationships and coaching them to achieve success. You will need to be results driven, proactive and organised.

Job Type – Permanent

Opening Hours: Between 6am-7pm

Salary Up to £44,000

Responsibilities

• Organise the planning team
• Ensure vehicle compliance is adhered to at all times, including MOT requirements,
• You will ensure costs are kept down, and utilise budgets
• Planning and analysing budgets and expenditures to ensure profitability of routes
• Planning and overseeing incoming & Outgoing deliveries
• Motivate, coach and train your team to achieve seamless service
• Enforcing industry laws and regulations and company policies

Requirements

• 5 years Management experience in a transport/Planning Office
• A confident engaging leader with natural ability to train, coach, motivate a team
• You will need a super organised, can do attitude.
• You will need to be able to prioritise, multi task and evaluate conflicting deadlines.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• You will need to be a focused, confident, clear communication
• CPC – Preferred but not essential
• IOSH / NEBOSH – Preferred but not essential
