Transport Planner required in Coventry

A leading haulage company based in Coventry are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join their rapidly expanding team.

You will be working in a busy and successful transport office, in a team of passionate Transport Planners.

Must have done extensive UK wide route planning.

Back loading experience essential.

The Package:
£25,000 -£30,000
Monday – Friday

The Role:
Transport Planner will be routing company owned vehicles around the UK
You must ensure routes are planned cost efficiently and resources are maximised
All Drivers must work within the constraints of WTD
Vehicles must be up to date with servicing and MOT
You will be sourcing and routing back loads and occasionally booking sub-contractors

The Requirements:
Experience UK wide route planning
General Haulage & Contract Logistics experience
Excellent multi-tasker
Commercially astute
