Transport Planner

Transport Planner required in Kent

You will be working in a fast paced transport office with a number of blue chip customers.

It is required that you understand profit and loss of trucks and have planned UK wide routes.

Transport Planner is expected to ensure maximum vehicle fill at all times.

The Package:
£25,000 – £32,000
4 on 4 off
06:00 – 18:00

The Role:
Transport Planner will be routing company owned vehicles UK wide
You must ensure maximum fill and profit is achieved
All WTD & Drivers Hours legislation must be adhered to
Transport Planner is expected to source back loads when needed
You must liaise effectively with Customers and colleagues as required

The Requirements:
General Haulage or Contract Logistics background
Excellent geographical knowledge
UK wide route planning
Strong communications skills
