Experienced in UK road movement to and from ports?

The Package :

Salary £25K – £33K
Monday to Friday : 08:00 – 17:00 or similar

The Role:

The Transport Planner will be Supervising drivers dealing with UK road Containers mainly to and from ports.
The Transport Planner will ensure the team will effectively plan vehicle routes by fully utilising own vehicles to the required levels of customer service, whilst also adhering to Drivers hours legislation and maintenance requirements.
The Transport Planner will issue drivers with clear instruction and react to any changing situation
Manage vehicle routing processes at minimum cost to successfully deliver customer requirements

Requirements

Experience with UK Road Containers
Experience with HGVs
Experience with Drivers
