Transport Planner – St Helens – Up to £33,500
We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join the logistics team based in St Helens.
The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating transportation activities, developing efficient routes, and ensuring on-time delivery of goods. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday
Week 1 – 10-8
Week 2 – 7-5

Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate routes for Artics & 44 Tonne Vehicles.
- Monitor and manage vehicle fleets to ensure efficient utilization
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize transportation processes
- Communicate with drivers and external partners to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Analyse transportation data and identify areas for improvement
Experience
- Previous experience Planning nationwide routes
- Proven ability to optimize transportation routes and schedules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of WTD,Tachos
- Pallet network background would be advantageous
- 3-4 Years minimum working in a similar role within the transport industry
