Transport Planner

Transport Planner required in Portsmouth

As Re-load Transport Planner you will be sourcing back fills for vehicles arriving into the UK from France.

It would be a huge advantage if you are French speaking or have worked with the French haulage market.

The Package:
£25,000 – £28,000
Monday – Friday
09:00 – 17:30
25 days holiday

The Role:
Transport Planner required to ensure timely unloading of company vehicles inbound from France
You must ensure profitable return loads are sourced to minimise empty mileage
It is expected that as Transport planner you route loads in line with Drivers Hours legislation
You will be working with import, export and customs teams as required
All Drivers must be briefed and debriefed fully
All associated admin tasks must be completed

The Requirements:
French Speaking highly desired
Experienced as a Transport Planner
Previously sourced back loads
Excellent team work skills
