Salary: up to £32,000 per annum

We’re currently seeking an experienced Transport Planner to manage daily operations for a fleet of 20 vehicles, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective transport solutions nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule nationwide deliveries across a 20-vehicle general haulage fleet
Optimise routing to ensure timely deliveries and maximum vehicle utilisation
Monitor driver performance, legal compliance (e.g. drivers’ hours, tachographs), and working time regulations
Coordinate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to resolve delivery issues
Maintain accurate records using transport management systems (TMS)
Requirements
Previous experience as a Transport Planner within general haulage or similar sector
Strong UK geographical knowledge and route planning ability
Proficient in transport planning systems and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
