Transport Planner
Container Transport Planner – Felixstowe
Location: Felixstowe
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + Performance Bonus + Excellent Benefits
We’re working with a leading logistics and transport business seeking an experienced Container Transport Planner to join their busy operations team in Felixstowe. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of containers across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate daily container transport operations
Liaise with drivers, depots, and customers to ensure timely deliveries and collections
Monitor and adjust plans to maximise fleet utilisation and efficiency
Ensure all transport documentation and compliance requirements are met
Proactively resolve any delivery or scheduling issues
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience in container transport planning or general logistics planning
Strong knowledge of UK geography and port operations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confident working with planning systems and Microsoft Office
A proactive team player with a problem-solving attitude
