Location: Coventry
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
I currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to join a leading logistics company at their site in Coventry.
As the Transport Planner you will be responsible for managing the companys UK to Ireland transport operations.
As a transport planner, your role will involve:
- Providing shipment updates and respond to customer inquiries.
- Coordinating transport bookings and plan loads efficiently.
- Assigning vehicles and give drivers clear instructions.
- Maintain communication with customers and internal teams.
- Handle PODs, job pricing, and general transport admin tasks
Essential requirements:
- Strong transport planning background (minimum of 2 years)
- Experience planning full and part loads
- Express freight experience
Experience of UK to Ireland transport operations as well as Import and Export knowledge would be highly advantageous.
