Transport Planner
Transport Planner vacancy with a UK leader in Container Transport.
UK Leader in Container Transport is looking for an experienced Container Planner in Stanford-Le-Hope
You will be working in a small team planning the movements of containers UK wide and will have a crucial role in decision making and managing your own time.
You must have a background in Container Transport, previous use of TOPS system is desired.
The Package:
up to £35,000
Monday – Friday
Hours TBC
25 days holiday + Bank holidays
Extensive company benefits
The Role:
As Transport Planner you will be arranging the release, collection and delivery of containers
You will plan Driver routes UK wide ensuring adherence to WTD – dealing with any infringements
Transport Planner must source sub contractors and agree rates
You must ensure all customers are kept up to date
All necessary admin must be completed
The Requirements:
Container Transport – Essential
TOPS – highly desired
Excellent geographical knowledge
Experience sourcing and agreeing rates with sub-contractors
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
