Transport Planner required in Castle Donington
You will be joining a fast paced UK wide logistics company who deal in all aspects of the industry and offer great opportunities to progress your career.
As a Transport Planner you will be working in a small team routing company vehicles UK wide.
Package:
Up to £35,000
Monday to Friday
50 hours per week (inc breaks)
830am start
The role:
Transport Planner will be responsible for planning the routes for vehicles
You must liaise effectively with customers and colleagues as required
It is your responsibility to ensure all routes are planned cost efficiently
Drivers hours legislation must be adhered to
It is essential all vehicles and Drivers remain compliant
The Requirements:
Experience as a Transport Planner
Geographical knowledge of UK
Strong knowledge of drivers’ hours legislation
Have 3PL background
Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
