Transport Planner

Transport Planner required in Newport

Successful and growing haulage company based in Newport are seeking an experienced Transport Planner.

You must have experience route planning HGV’s UK wide

Experience using TMS highly desired

The Package:
£28K – £28K
Pension
4 on 4 off rota
5am – 5pm

The role:
Transport Planner must ensure cost effective Route Planning
You must deal with daily operational problems promptly and efficiently
You will be doing full Driver brief & de-briefs
As Transport Planner you must liaise with customers and drivers regularly
It is essential all vehicles and Drivers remain compliant

The Requirements:
3 years + as Transport Planner
Haulage / HGV routing experience
Excellent knowledge of WTD / VOSA Compliance
Managers CPC preferred
Geographical knowledge of UK
