Transport Planner

Transport Planner required in Stockport

You will be joining an independent specialist haulage company that are experts in all they do.

Working with a team of planners, you will learn and develop new skills, becoming an expert yourself.

To be successful you will need route planning experience from within a general haulage business.

Package:
£28,000 – £32,000 (DOE)
Monday – Friday
07:30 – 18:00
Occasional sat AM’s

Role:
Transport Planner will be routing company vehicles UK wide
You will be planning for dedicated loads, General Haulage & Abnormal loads
It is essential that you ensure full compliance with all legislation
Transport planner is expected to work with a team and liaise as needed
All drivers must be fully briefed and de-briefed with tacho analysis

Requirements:
General Haulage / Heavy Haulage background
Must be able to plan vehicle routes
Previous use of TMS beneficial
Excellent work ethic / attitude
